During my recent trip to Cadiz, I had the pleasure of staying at De Cadiz Cadi Hostel, tucked away in the charming Old Town, a mere two-minute stroll from the vibrant local bars and restaurants. The historic building captures the essence of the city, while the spacious kitchen and hangout areas provide a friendly atmosphere - perfect for chatting with fellow travelers and sharing stories over a meal. I loved the easy access to both La Caleta Beach and the iconic Gran Teatro Falla, which made my days filled with exploration extremely convenient. The staff were commendably warm and did their best to communicate despite the language barrier, which added a personal touch to the experience. The hostel boasted comfy beds, good AC, and individual lockers for security - essential for any history buff traveling with cameras and gear. Whether you're engaging in spirited discussions about Andalusian cuisine or planning your next cycling adventure, this place has the right vibe for both history enthusiasts and casual wanderers alike. Highly recommend for the value and location!
